    Our company was established by Timothy J. Windos, who has over 20 years experience as a Financial Advisor, Branch and District Manager in the retirement plan industry. In his supervisory roles, Tim has served as the primary Relationship Manager to key decision-makers regarding their organizations’ 401(a), 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans. He has collaborated with employers ranging from 20 to 10,000 employees on their sponsorship of institutional retirement programs. Tim has also directly provided on-site education to employees regarding the retirement plan offered by their employer.

    Over the last 15 years, several developments have contributed to significant changes in how employers must oversee the handling of their organizations’ retirement plan. Some of these occurrences are the underfunding of defined benefit pensions and the transition to defined contribution retirement plans; the volatility of the securities marketplace; case law precedents, state statutes and administrative codes regarding fiduciary status as well as new and forthcoming U.S. Department of Labor regulations. These factors have all contributed to an increasing burden placed on executives and managers who have a role in overseeing their employers’ retirement plan. Our team at TJW Fiduciary Plan Consultants recognizes the causes effecting today’s retirement plan landscape.
